Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of product management experience building and launching technical products.
- A strong technical foundation in storage, query engines, distributed systems, and cloud architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AI and LLM tools, both for productivity and building products.
- Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data and use it to make decisions.
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into actionable plans.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and ability to lead through influence.
- Experience with platform, data, or infrastructure products is preferred.
- A Computer Science background or related technical field is preferred.
- Database, data warehouse, lakehouse, or query engine experience is a bonus.
- Observability experience is a bonus.
- Experience with streaming and real-time processing systems is a bonus.
- Familiarity with data sovereignty, data residency, or regulated environments is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Own Dirac’s vision and strategy and turn it into a prioritized roadmap across storage, at-rest processing, query, and federation.
- Define how customers query observability data using NRQL, SQL, and AI-driven natural language, including how AI agents use the platform.
- Define product direction for streaming alerts, aggregation, and in-platform processing.
- Lead federation strategy for querying data across clouds, regions, and customer-owned storage, including Lens and data sovereignty and residency.
- Prototype, test, and ship AI features on the platform, and use AI tools in day-to-day work.
- Talk with customers to understand how they store and query data and where they encounter problems.
- Define and track metrics including query volume, latency, data stored, cost per GB, and adoption.
- Partner with engineering, architecture, design, finance, sales, and marketing on platform delivery and go-to-market launches.
- Identify roadblocks, align resources, and drive complex platform initiatives to completion.
