Requirements
- Have 3-7 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in robotics, industrial automation, capital equipment, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrate a track record of meeting or exceeding quota and closing deals.
- Lead technical conversations with plant-floor audiences and translate customer needs into business cases for operations leadership.
- Run live product demonstrations and handle objections.
- Work independently in a remote, territory-based environment.
- Be proficient in CRM tools such as Salesforce or equivalent and maintain disciplined pipeline records.
- Have a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Existing manufacturing, industrial automation, or machine shop contacts in the territory are a plus.
- Experience selling complex capital equipment or robotics platforms such as UR, Fanuc, KUKA, or ABB is a plus.
- Familiarity with machine tending, palletizing, welding, or assembly automation applications is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in manufacturing, logistics, and industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain a pipeline through outbound prospecting, referrals, industry events, and channel partners.
- Lead discovery conversations about customer production challenges, automation goals, and constraints.
- Translate customer needs into value propositions for the company's hardware, software, and AI capabilities.
- Conduct live and virtual product demonstrations tailored to customer applications.
- Own the sales cycle from prospecting through proposals, pricing, negotiation, contracting, and close.
- Collaborate with the Implementation team on deals requiring turnkey integration.
- Keep CRM pipeline data, activity logs, and deal status up to date.
- Build customer relationships to drive repeat business, expansions, and referrals, and provide customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams.
