Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of experience in K–12 education, including significant district-level leadership experience.
- Have deep expertise in the Science of Reading, structured literacy, and evidence-based foundational literacy instruction.
- Have experience leading or supporting district-wide literacy initiatives and multi-school implementation strategies.
- Be able to advise, influence, and present effectively to senior district and state education leaders.
- Have experience with complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships or enterprise-level education initiatives.
- Be familiar with outcomes-based contracting, grant-funded programs, or accountability-driven procurement.
- Bring communication, facilitation, consultative problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Balance instructional credibility with commercial objectives and strategic partnership goals.
- Be willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time, with occasional additional travel based on district needs, for in-person training and partnership support.
- Be comfortable working remotely, participating in frequent video meetings, reviewing digital documents, and collaborating through technology for extended periods.
- Have experience working in a Google Workspace environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives and Customer Success teams on high-value district and state opportunities throughout the sales and partnership lifecycle.
- Present outcome-focused information to superintendents, academic chiefs, literacy directors, and state education leaders.
- Build relationships with district and state leaders and support transitions from sales conversations to implementation and long-term partnerships.
- Represent the organization at conferences, leadership convenings, and state literacy events.
- Support pipeline development, expansion opportunities, strategic proposals, renewals, and partnership value.
- Advise districts and state agencies on the Science of Reading, structured literacy, foundational instruction, MTSS frameworks, intervention models, and implementation science.
- Help education systems define success criteria, implementation benchmarks, measurable outcomes, and evidence aligned with strategic goals and funding priorities.
- Connect product capabilities to student achievement outcomes and contribute to customer success stories, impact metrics, and evidence of program effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Implementation teams on messaging, the district experience, and sales enablement.
- Share field and district insights with internal teams to improve positioning, partnerships, and organizational approach.
