  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate fundraising, corporate partnerships, business development, strategic partnerships, sponsorship, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success securing and growing significant multi-year corporate partnerships nationally while achieving revenue targets.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing fundraising or partnership professionals.
  • Strong understanding of corporate philanthropy, corporate social responsibility, cause marketing, sponsorship, and employee engagement.
  • Ability to develop, manage, and convert a substantial corporate prospect pipeline.
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage corporate portfolios, pipelines, activities, relationships, and forecasts.
  • Strong financial acumen, including revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Negotiation, presentation, proposal development, relationship management, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and influence colleagues, leaders, and partners without direct authority.
  • Experience in a national nonprofit, chapter-based organization, federation, or similarly complex organization is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a national corporate partnerships strategy aligned with organizational priorities and revenue objectives.
  • Set annual and multi-year revenue goals, pipeline targets, retention objectives, and growth strategies.
  • Build and manage a qualified corporate prospect pipeline and identify emerging industries, companies, and market opportunities.
  • Lead the qualification, cultivation, solicitation, negotiation, and closing of significant corporate partnerships.
  • Build relationships with senior corporate decision-makers and engage organizational leaders and board members to advance prospects.
  • Manage significant corporate relationships, including annual plans, stewardship, renewals, upgrades, and expansion.
  • Create customized partnership opportunities across philanthropy, sponsorships, cause marketing, workplace giving, and employee engagement.
  • Coordinate partnership activations and processes with Programs, Marketing and Communications, Finance, and Affiliate Services.
  • Provide forecasting, pipeline analysis, performance reporting, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Lead, coach, and develop partnership or fundraising professionals.
