Requirements
- Have 10+ years of experience in customer engagement, technical support, technical account management, or a related customer-facing technology role.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Bring strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives against timelines.
- Have experience with software implementation projects, including requirements gathering, functional specifications, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, or training.
- Understand software development lifecycle methodologies and foundational concepts such as HTML, XML, relational databases, and reporting tools.
- Have experience applying change management principles in software implementation or transformation initiatives.
- Understand enterprise software business and technical environments and relevant property and casualty insurance processes.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences through interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrate consulting, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities when managing complex, cross-functional issues.
- Collaborate with customers, technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
- Be familiar with architecture frameworks and software design patterns.
- Have 3–5 years of insurance technology or property and casualty insurance experience preferred.
- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred; TOGAF and/or Agile Product Owner certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders in assigned premium-support accounts and advise customers on relevant product capabilities.
- Map customer business processes to product capabilities, identify gaps, and coordinate solutions within agreed timelines.
- Own customer incidents, escalations, support tickets, and business pain points through resolution, providing clear updates.
- Partner with technical and support teams to develop action plans, prioritize backlogs, and resolve customer issues.
- Ensure root-cause analyses are completed and communicated after critical incidents.
- Establish weekly support updates, monthly operational reviews, and quarterly stakeholder alignment meetings.
- Communicate product updates, supportability considerations, and strategic product plans to customers.
- Develop and manage software upgrade project plans covering requirements, stakeholders, deployment, communications, and release execution.
- Help customers maximize product and service value, encourage adoption, and minimize unnecessary customization.
- Support health checks, release management, change requests, adoption initiatives, and critical Sev1 escalations.
