Requirements
- Bring 5+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience, with strong expertise in Search campaigns and lead generation.
- Have demonstrated experience generating leads for local businesses, service businesses, or similar customer segments.
- Have Google Ads as a primary specialization and be able to manage Microsoft Ads accounts independently.
- Have experience managing multiple paid search accounts simultaneously, particularly in an agency or freelance environment.
- Apply strong analytical judgment when working with small budgets and low conversion volumes.
- Determine when available evidence supports a decision and when further testing or observation is needed.
- Troubleshoot conversion tracking issues and investigate performance anomalies.
- Learn and work effectively with new analytics, advertising, and reporting tools.
- Maintain strong documentation habits and clearly explain strategic decisions and recommendations.
- Have strong written and verbal English skills for collaboration, written analysis, and occasional client communication.
- Take ownership, identify issues, raise concerns early, and act without waiting for a detailed task list.
- Be collaborative and open to feedback, experimentation, and continuous improvement.
- Be available for at least four hours of overlap with U.S. Eastern Time; the typical Ads Manager schedule is 7 AM–4 PM ET.
Responsibilities
- Manage approximately 20–30 Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts independently.
- Own account strategy and execution across campaign structure, budgets, bidding, keywords, negative keywords, ad copy, and landing page recommendations.
- Optimize Google Search campaigns for qualified lead generation and measurable client outcomes.
- Monitor lead volume, cost per lead, lead quality, conversion tracking, and other performance indicators.
- Diagnose performance changes, including tracking issues, search queries, bidding, landing pages, competition, seasonality, and account changes.
- Prepare written weekly analyses and revision plans for priority accounts, explaining recommended changes and expected outcomes.
- Compare actual results with previous recommendations and use findings to refine future decisions.
- Use appropriate year-over-year comparisons to account for seasonality and distinguish trends from temporary fluctuations.
- Document account changes, decisions, rationale, and outcomes, and turn repeatable solutions into standard operating procedures.
- Share findings, testing ideas, and performance insights with the team and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, lead quality, tracking, and client revenue contribution.
