Requirements
- Be licensed to practice in Oklahoma.
- Have a minimum of 1 year of psychology-related experience after boards.
- Have DEA registration.
- Be comfortable prescribing controlled substances when medically appropriate.
- Be comfortable prescribing for anxiety and depression.
- Be able to synthesize medical and psychiatric information to formulate evidence-based clinical recommendations.
- Preferred: have 1 year of psychology experience as a PMHNP.
- Be willing to use Slack, G Suite, Zoom, and similar tools.
- Be comfortable working remotely in a telehealth startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake and follow-up consultations via telemedicine.
- Evaluate patient eligibility for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP).
- Prescribe treatment and monitor patient outcomes.
- Suggest treatment-plan changes based on patient response to medication and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with Journey Clinical member psychotherapists.
- Work with a care coordinator to streamline workflow.
- Provide prompt feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system.
- Report to the Lead Clinician and collaborate with the leadership team and co-founders.
