Job Details

Have a minimum technical degree or equivalent military experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Have 2+ years of relevant work experience.
Have previous experience working as a field engineer and handling customers professionally.
Have experience with mechanical systems involving pneumatic and servo-controlled mechanisms.
Have experience working directly on software-controlled instruments.
Have experience in ISO- or GMP-controlled environments in the life science field.
Have knowledge of computer networking.
Be proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
Be able to read and interpret scientific documentation, including organizational, instrument, customer, and regulatory procedures.
Be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Be able to prioritize technical work and travel, and recognize when to escalate issues.
Be able to work extended hours at client sites, participate in periodic weekend on-call duty, lift 75 pounds, and travel extensively on short notice.

Install Growth Direct systems at new and existing customer sites.
Complete scheduled preventive maintenance activities on time.
Provide emergency customer repairs in line with warranty or service contract levels.
Complete service reports, expense reports, and SFDC requirements.
Complete paperwork within departmental goals.
Complete required training on time to meet quality requirements.
Support the instrument sales process by performing site inspections.
Develop working knowledge of industry practices and company policies.
