Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in Platform or Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
- Operate at a senior level with strong ownership and autonomy.
- Bring deep expertise in at least one major cloud provider: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Have practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally Terraform.
- Understand CI/CD concepts and best practices, and be able to assess, design, and modernize pipelines.
- Have experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, ELK, or Prometheus, or similar tools.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex daily in hands-on infrastructure work.
- Be comfortable coaching brand teams on using AI coding tools.
- Have a software development background or the ability to read and debug application code.
- Have communication and consulting skills for advising and influencing technical stakeholders across different teams and technology stacks.
Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure projects for assigned brands, including migrations, performance and reliability improvements, incident response practices, containerization, and cloud cost optimizations.
- Establish or upgrade CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, alerting, and SLO-aligned dashboards.
- Baseline and improve reliability using data.
- Advise brand CTOs and engineering leads on architecture and trade-offs, explaining decisions with clear reasoning and measurable outcomes.
- Contribute to and use central services such as observability and backups.
- Collaborate with developers during product-team engagements and troubleshoot across application and infrastructure boundaries.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex for infrastructure as code, scripting, and incident diagnosis, and help brand teams adopt these workflows.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
