Requirements
- Have 5+ years of hands-on experience in platform engineering, site reliability engineering (SRE), or core DevOps.
- Have a proven track record designing and delivering Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).
- Bring expertise in Kubernetes administration, custom controller or operator architectures, and service meshes such as Istio or Linkerd.
- Have experience with GitOps continuous delivery tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Use Terraform, OpenTofu, or Pulumi to build modular, reusable infrastructure blueprints across cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Have strong programming skills in Go or Python for platform extensions, CLI tools, Kubernetes operators, and API integrations.
- Have practical experience building or integrating developer portals such as Backstage or Port and automated workflow engines.
- Have hands-on experience establishing telemetry standards with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain self-service platform tools and developer portals for infrastructure provisioning, environment management, and service deployment.
- Maintain automated GitOps delivery pipelines using ArgoCD or Flux, including canary and blue-green deployments and automated rollbacks.
- Maintain cluster health, upgrade lifecycles, autoscaling policies, and security policies across multi-region Kubernetes deployments.
- Write production-grade Go or Python code for custom Kubernetes operators, CLI utilities, and API automation.
- Establish platform-wide SLI/SLO tracking and centralized logging and tracing infrastructure.
- Enforce automated security and cost-compliance policies across environments.
