Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in platform or software engineering.
- Have expert-level proficiency in Python.
- Have hands-on experience building APIs and SDKs on distributed services, including client libraries.
- Be proficient in FastAPI, REST and asynchronous API design, API versioning, and contract testing.
- Have expertise in gateway architecture, orchestration, API integration, and consistent routing.
- Know IAM concepts, including least-privilege RBAC and ABAC, managed or workload identity, and token delegation flows.
- Have hands-on experience with Azure and GCP, private endpoints, and multi-cloud service-to-service integration.
- Have CI/CD and automation skills using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Be familiar with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, and Grafana.
- Have English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
Responsibilities
- Design and build APIs and SDKs for distributed platform services using Python and FastAPI.
- Define REST and asynchronous API design standards, versioning strategies, and contract testing practices.
- Develop client libraries that provide consistent access to platform services.
- Architect and maintain a gateway layer, including orchestration and routing patterns for platform services.
- Implement least-privilege RBAC and ABAC authorization models at the gateway level.
- Manage identity and token flows, including managed or workload identity and delegation.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions with a test-first delivery approach.
- Integrate services across Azure and GCP, including private endpoints for service-to-service communication.
- Implement observability using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, and Grafana; use metrics, traces, and logs to debug and tune production performance.
