Requirements
- Have 1–3 years of experience in a business intelligence, data analytics, or data engineering role.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SQL, including building procedures and views, scheduling jobs, and querying and manipulating data.
- Have experience building dashboards or reports in a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Have strong Excel skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred: Have experience in the insurance industry and/or working with enterprise data.
- Preferred: Have experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Gemini as work acceleration tools.
- Preferred: Have experience building and maintaining SSAS Tabular models.
- Preferred: Have a bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain shelter, breeder, and sales reporting, including dashboards and analyses tracking channel performance.
- Build and maintain compensation models for shelter, breeder, and sales programs, and provide ongoing analytical support to these teams.
- Support Bordereaux, MCAS, and NAPHIA reporting, including recurring submissions, related analyses, and ad hoc requests.
- Identify opportunities to streamline the semantic codebase and recurring reporting and improve data quality and availability.
- Field and deliver ad hoc analytics requests from cross-functional partners.
