Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Proven track record of leading requirement-gathering workshops with executives.
- Advanced knowledge of Power BI including DAX, Power Query, and premium capacity management.
- Deep expertise in AWS QuickSight, including SPICE ingestion and calculated fields.
- Strong ability to write complex SQL queries, joins, and aggregations.
- Solid understanding of data modeling including star schemas, snowflake schemas, and normalization.
- Exceptional analytical mindset to dissect vague requests into structured logic.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Obsessive focus on data accuracy and formatting consistency.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to extract complex business requirements.
- Translate vague business needs into detailed, technical data specifications.
- Define clear, measurable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with business goals.
- Document data dictionaries, metric definitions, and source-to-target mappings.
- Design intuitive, interactive, and visually compelling dashboards in Power BI and QuickSight.
- Build robust data models, calculated measures, and row-level security (RLS) features.
- Validate data accuracy and consistency across all published reports.
- Document dashboard metadata and data lineage within Atlan.
- Train business users on how to navigate dashboards and interpret data insights.
