Have a degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
Have 5+ years of professional experience as a .NET software engineer.
Bring strong experience in .NET web application development, C#, and build and deployment processes.
Have expert-level experience developing secure APIs, microservices, reusable components, and modules.
Understand JavaScript and TypeScript and have experience or familiarity with Angular, React, or Vue; Angular is preferred.
Understand application development services on Azure or AWS; relevant cloud certifications are an advantage.
Have good working knowledge of Node.js and its use in modern web application architectures.
Have experience developing enterprise-scale, multi-user applications where scalability, security, and reliability are critical.
Understand Web API design and optimisation for large-scale usage.
Have experience with .NET Core, .NET Standard and/or .NET Framework, using C#.
Understand dependency injection and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks.
Have experience with IIS hosting and enterprise web application deployment environments.
Have strong SQL Server knowledge, including schema creation and query optimisation.
Have practical experience with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

Design and develop modern, high-performing, scalable web applications.
Break business requirements into clear user stories with the team.
Create and maintain technical specifications for development and implementation.
Develop features using C#/.NET Web APIs, Node.js, and SQL Server, applying secure coding practices and unit testing.
Build secure, reusable APIs, microservices, components, and modules.
Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards, maintainability, security, and performance.
Maintain, troubleshoot, support, and enhance existing systems and application platforms.
Participate in implementing, operating, and troubleshooting cloud-based services.
Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment processes.
Design SQL Server schemas, optimise queries, and contribute to database performance and reliability.
