Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with test-driven development and UI/API design.
- Strong experience with modern frontend technologies, particularly React and TypeScript.
- Experience with Node.js and/or Ruby on Rails.
- 5+ years of experience monitoring production systems, tuning alerts, responding to incidents, and improving operational reliability.
- Experience building or contributing to modern CI/CD systems that support predictable and deterministic releases.
- Strong understanding of scalable UI architecture, with experience applying microfrontend concepts or comparable approaches.
- Ability to recommend and implement technical investments that improve stability, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Experience working effectively in remote and distributed team environments.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Ability to mentor engineers and contribute to code quality, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain the runtime platform supporting customized frontend experiences.
- Design and build user interfaces using microfrontend concepts.
- Develop frontend platform capabilities for engineering and product teams.
- Write clean, tested, and documented code using established engineering standards.
- Develop frontend platform capabilities and supporting services with React, Node.js, TypeScript, and Ruby.
- Monitor production UIs and services, tune alerts, and respond to production incidents.
- Build and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems.
- Recommend technical investments to strengthen stability, runtime performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Develop operational support strategies and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders.
