Requirements

  • Bring experience in Renewals Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, management consulting, strategy, or a comparable analytical and problem-solving function.
  • Demonstrate ownership of operational improvements and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Have hands-on experience with consumption-based and subscription renewal motions, including forecasting, retention reporting, and renewal closing mechanics.
  • Use structured problem-solving to break ambiguous challenges into workstreams, prioritize, and drive initiatives through implementation.
  • Have strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Build and validate models from scratch and translate analysis into clear recommendations and actions.
  • Bring SQL or equivalent data-querying experience; preferred but not required.
  • Have systems-thinking capabilities and experience using Salesforce for pipeline and renewal reporting.
  • Understand interactions among CRM, subscription and entitlement data, quoting, billing, and other go-to-market systems.
  • Bring familiarity with renewal complexities such as co-terming, amendments, expansions, downgrades, price changes, multiyear agreements, auto-renewals, procurement requirements, and approval policies.
  • Communicate and collaborate across field teams, senior leadership, and technical stakeholders, influencing outcomes without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Own and improve the end-to-end renewal operating model, from identification and assignment through risk management, forecasting, quoting, closing, and post-renewal data hygiene.
  • Develop operating cadences and consistent processes that guide renewal execution and improve efficiency.
  • Define, maintain, and evolve retention reporting, including gross and net retention, churn, downgrades, and renewal performance drivers.
  • Partner with Revenue Technology, Revenue Analytics, Finance, and other stakeholders to improve CRM, subscription and entitlement records, quoting, orders, billing, reporting, and data flows.
  • Translate business needs into requirements and validate systems solutions.
  • Scale renewal workflows through automation, standardized processes, alerts, playbooks, and self-service insights.
  • Support renewals planning and capacity management through segmentation, coverage models, productivity assumptions, capacity modeling, target setting, and scenario planning.
  • Own and mature the Renewal Operations case-management program, including intake, triage, routing, service-level visibility, resolution, and root-cause analysis.
  • Document processes, mentor colleagues on renewal operations, and contribute to broader Revenue Operations initiatives.
