Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or sales within healthcare, behavioral health, or a related industry.
- Strong understanding of healthcare referral networks, market dynamics, and payer landscapes.
- Ability to establish, nurture, and grow relationships with external stakeholders.
- Business development and consultative sales capabilities, including identifying opportunities and building sustainable partnerships.
- Ability to use data and analytics to evaluate performance and inform business development strategy.
- Written and verbal communication skills, including presenting information and responding to questions from varied audiences.
- Customer service, attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or comparable productivity tools.
- Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Comfort with regular travel throughout the assigned territory and maintaining a strong regional presence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to establish and grow partnerships with hospitals, health systems, large outpatient practices, and other referral sources.
- Identify business opportunities and cultivate relationships that expand regional presence and increase referral volume.
- Build and maintain a network of external healthcare and professional stakeholders across the assigned territory.
- Represent the organization at conferences, industry events, networking opportunities, and other professional gatherings.
- Communicate the organization’s mission, clinical model, services, and differentiators to professional partners.
- Use market insights, referral trends, and performance data to evaluate results and refine partnership strategies.
- Collaborate with admissions, marketing, alumni, and account management teams to coordinate growth initiatives and messaging.
- Maintain accurate outreach records and performance metrics in Salesforce.
- Manage the territory budget and monitor performance against key performance indicators.
