Requirements
- Bring 7+ years of product management experience.
- Demonstrate a track record of taking consumer products from discovery through launch and scaling adoption.
- Have experience building products in fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or similarly complex consumer environments.
- Set strategic direction independently for a substantial product area and align multiple teams around priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Translate complex systems and financial concepts into intuitive, trustworthy user experiences.
- Connect long-term opportunities with practical product and platform decisions and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Use customer research, behavioral data, and structured experimentation to prioritize opportunities and evaluate tradeoffs.
- Bring structure to ambiguous problems, make decisions with incomplete information, and communicate rationale, risks, and required support.
- Build alignment across technical, commercial, risk, legal, and customer-focused teams.
- Experience with credit, lending, personalization, or AI-powered consumer experiences is a plus.
- Learn complex domains quickly and distinguish customer-focused innovation from technology without a clear user need.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision and strategy for consumer credit experiences, identifying customer problems and priorities across teams.
- Develop experiences that help consumers explore financing options before checkout, understand purchasing power, and recognize when credit becomes available after repayment.
- Create personalized journeys for new and returning consumers using customer research, experimentation, and behavioral insights.
- Own merchant prequalification and purchasing power experiences, partnering with credit decisioning and platform teams.
- Align Engineering, Design, Analytics, Credit, Marketing, Commercial, and Legal stakeholders on tradeoffs involving consumers, growth, risk, and partner commitments.
- Influence senior leaders with recommendations, product judgment, data-driven decisions, and communication of risks and opportunities.
- Define success metrics, lead discovery and experimentation, and use funnel analysis and customer feedback to improve activation, conversion, engagement, and product comprehension.
- Evaluate outcomes and determine which initiatives to scale, adjust, or discontinue.
