Requirements
- Bring 7-10+ years of product management leadership in B2B software.
- Have 3+ years of experience with technically complex products such as networking and infrastructure, observability, security, or developer platforms.
- Have product experience in network observability, monitoring, or telemetry.
- Be fluent in SNMP, streaming telemetry (gNMI), flow data (NetFlow, sFlow, IPFIX), and OpenTelemetry, including their strengths and limitations.
- Be comfortable working in a codebase, scripting against APIs, building prototypes, and reading pull requests.
- Translate technical detail into business value in writing and in conversations with audiences from engineers to executives.
- Demonstrate ownership of products across the full lifecycle and autonomy to run a product line.
- Influence and drive alignment across engineering, Customer Success, and GTM.
- Operate in ambiguity and build structure where none exists.
- Bonus: Bring experience with open source products and communities.
- Bonus: Have familiarity with network automation or source-of-truth tooling.
- Bonus: Have experience shipping products delivered on-premises and as SaaS.
- Bonus: Have exposure to device discovery or inventory ingestion pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Own Observability features and products, turning product strategy into a scoped, sequenced roadmap across Cloud and Enterprise deployments.
- Drive products from definition through GA and ongoing iteration.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in network observability and how telemetry is collected, modelled, and used by operators.
- Translate technical capabilities into business value for customers, sales, Customer Success, and leadership.
- Equip GTM teams with product positioning, demos, and technical enablement.
- Prototype to answer product questions and validate ideas with engineering and customers.
- Engage customers and prospects in discovery, technical pre-sales conversations, and design partner programs.
- Partner with Discovery and Assurance teams to create coherent platform offerings.
- Define Observability success metrics and use them to guide roadmap decisions.
