Requirements
- Have 6+ years of product marketing experience at a B2B SaaS or technology company.
- Have experience conducting market discovery through customer, prospect, and win-and-loss interviews and translating insights into market problems, buyer personas, positioning, and go-to-market decisions.
- Have experience managing or developing product marketers and building functional processes, standards, and playbooks.
- Have a track record of owning product launches end to end, from positioning through sales readiness and results.
- Be a strong writer and clear communicator who can explain technical products plainly across organizational levels.
- Have experience building competitive intelligence, including research, battlecards, and win-and-loss analysis.
- Have experience segmenting markets and creating differentiated messaging by segment and buyer role.
- Be comfortable working directly with sales representatives, joining calls, and creating practical sales materials.
- Be able to connect messaging and launch work to pipeline and bookings.
- Be comfortable building from scratch in a fast-moving environment with evolving processes.
- Bonus: Pragmatic Marketing or Product Marketing Alliance certification; experience taking a multi-product platform to market; marketing to small and medium-sized businesses, particularly in automotive or home services; familiarity with Salesforce and HubSpot; or knowledge of the automotive repair industry.
Responsibilities
- Own positioning, messaging, and value propositions across the AutoVitals product suite, differentiated by shop size and buyer role.
- Define and maintain customer segmentation by revenue band, location count, and role.
- Partner with Product to translate the roadmap into market-facing language before products ship.
- Own go-to-market plans and launch communications, including audience, messaging, channels, internal readiness, FAQs, and success measures.
- Drive adoption of existing features among current shops.
- Build and maintain competitive intelligence, including battlecards, win-and-loss themes, and market updates for leadership.
- Create sales materials, including decks, one-pagers, talk tracks, objection handling, and FAQs.
- Coordinate segmented campaign messaging with demand generation and content, and measure results against sales adoption and pipeline.
- Establish product marketing standards, processes, and operating cadence across Product, Sales, and Marketing.
- Hire, onboard, and develop product marketers as the team grows.
