Requirements
- Have 6+ years in product marketing at a B2B SaaS or technology company.
- Have experience conducting market discovery through customer, prospect, and win/loss interviews.
- Translate market insights into validated problems, buyer personas, positioning, and go-to-market decisions.
- Have experience managing or developing product marketers and building function-wide processes, standards, and playbooks.
- Have a track record owning product launches end to end, from positioning through sales readiness and results.
- Be a strong writer able to explain technical products plainly across organizational levels.
- Have experience building competitive intelligence, including research, battlecards, and win/loss analysis.
- Have experience segmenting markets and creating differentiated messaging by segment and buyer role.
- Be comfortable working directly with sales reps, joining calls, and creating materials they will use.
- Be data-literate and able to connect messaging and launch work to pipeline and bookings.
- Be comfortable building from scratch in a fast-moving environment where processes are not yet defined.
- Bonus: Pragmatic Marketing or Product Marketing Alliance certification; multi-product platform go-to-market experience; SMB marketing experience, particularly in automotive or home services; Salesforce or HubSpot familiarity; or automotive repair industry knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Own AutoVitals’ content strategy and editorial calendar.
- Build a content library segmented by shop size, shop type, and buyer role.
- Design journeys between content pieces that move readers toward sales conversations.
- Write, edit, and publish articles, guides, website copy, email, video scripts, and product-supporting material.
- Audit existing content, retire outdated material, and rebuild content worth keeping.
- Create customer stories and case studies prospects can verify.
- Write SEO content using keyword targeting, on-page optimization, content structure, and internal linking.
- Own ongoing AutoVitals website content updates and new pages.
- Track and report rankings, traffic, engagement depth, and conversion into qualified leads.
- Develop demand-generation and event content, establish content standards and processes, and hire and develop content marketers.
