Requirements
- Bring 10+ years of PR or strategic communications experience, including significant agency leadership experience.
- Have deep expertise leading communications for B2B technology companies, including enterprise software, AI, cloud, SaaS, data and analytics, developer platforms, or compliance technology.
- Demonstrate success owning and scaling integrated, multi-channel communications programs for complex B2B technology clients.
- Know the B2B technology media landscape, analyst community, and key industry influencers.
- Craft data-informed narratives that connect with decision-makers from boardrooms to developer communities.
- Have strong strategic writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities, including translating technical complexity into business impact.
- Demonstrate executive-level client counsel and senior stakeholder relationship management, including C-suite and board engagement.
- Show a track record of building, mentoring, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Bring business acumen, including experience with forecasting, resourcing, and revenue growth.
- Have experience supporting and winning new business in a competitive agency environment.
Responsibilities
- Set strategic direction and oversee delivery for a portfolio of key B2B technology accounts.
- Advise clients across enterprise software, AI, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, developer tools, data and analytics, compliance technology, and emerging B2B technology categories.
- Define and oversee integrated, multi-channel communications strategies and provide executive-level counsel on messaging, positioning, reputation, and issues response.
- Guide teams in translating complex B2B technology concepts into business-relevant stories for executives, boards, developers, and technical buyers.
- Own senior client relationships and identify organic growth opportunities across existing accounts.
- Oversee account budgets, forecasting, staffing models, and margin management.
- Maintain relationships with B2B technology media, analysts, and industry influencers, and oversee client thought leadership and executive visibility programs.
- Lead, mentor, recruit, and develop account teams; contribute to new business pitches and agency go-to-market efforts.
