Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software testing and QA experience in an Agile Scrum environment.
- 5+ years building test frameworks with TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
- Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO or Playwright; Selenium is also listed for end-to-end browser automation.
- Experience with manual, exploratory, regression, integration, API/services, and database testing.
- Understanding of Git branching strategies, pull request workflows, and incremental CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Hands-on use of AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot in a daily workflow.
- Experience with Jest, Vitest, or Mocha for unit and integration testing.
- Experience with k6, JMeter, or Locust and test execution via GitHub Actions and AWS.
- Experience with Datadog, Sentry, or New Relic, and test management tools such as TestRail, Jira, Xray, or Zephyr.
- Industry experience in EdTech, SaaS/B2B software, or e-learning/online education platforms.
- Ability to participate in scrum ceremonies, surface release risks and defect trends, and support production escalations.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks and regression suites across UI, API, and service layers.
- Plan and execute testing end-to-end, from story validation through production release support.
- Test and validate internally built LLMs and external AI tools and services.
- Identify quality risks early and refine requirements into testable acceptance criteria with Engineering, Product Management, and Product Design.
- Communicate test status, coverage gaps, release risks, and defect trends to stakeholders.
- Document, triage, and track defects, using AI tooling to assist with issue detection, reproduction, and resolution.
- Provide technical testing guidance and advocate for quality throughout development.
- Mentor mid-level quality engineers through code reviews, pairing, and hands-on guidance.
