Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of engineering experience in a team environment.
  • Have 3+ years of experience in service-oriented architecture, deployment systems, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Be proficient in at least one high-level programming language, such as Ruby, Java, Go, Python, or TypeScript.
  • Have experience with modern client-side JavaScript libraries such as React and Redux.
  • Have experience with application migration patterns and trade-off scenarios.
  • Know object-oriented programming and REST design principles.
  • Have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Be legally eligible to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build full-stack features spanning front end, back end, data modeling, infrastructure, and test automation.
  • Own large projects end-to-end, from idea through general availability, including planning, design, execution, shipping, and operations.
  • Build high-performance, virtualized views that render large datasets and anticipate scaling issues.
  • Design APIs and data pipelines for real-time collaboration, large datasets, and high-concurrency workloads.
  • Identify and address team-wide operational and developer-experience problems by building tooling and infrastructure.
  • Use AI coding tools across development, testing, review, and documentation, validating their output.
  • Lead design and code reviews and mentor engineers through complex projects.
  • Partner with product and design to turn customer needs into requirements and trade-offs.
  • Monitor production software and iterate based on usage and feedback.
  • Coordinate with product, design, data, and customer success to manage dependencies and complete projects.
