Requirements

  • Bring 7–10+ years of experience in Operational Excellence, Process Improvement, Business Transformation, Operations Strategy, Consulting, or related fields.
  • Demonstrate experience leading large-scale process improvement initiatives.
  • Have a strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, process mapping, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Have experience working with technology and product organizations.
  • Bring strong analytical and financial business-case skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Have experience translating data into operational recommendations.
  • Bring strong project and change-management capabilities.
  • Preferred: experience with automotive warranty claims, dealership fixed operations, automotive BPO, OEM warranty processes, DMS workflows, warranty administration, multi-OEM environments, or automotive SaaS and technology-enabled services.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the operational excellence strategy, continuous improvement framework, and prioritized improvement portfolio.
  • Build business cases and expected ROI for major initiatives, and report transformation progress and realized benefits to executive leadership.
  • Map and analyze end-to-end warranty claims processes; identify variation, bottlenecks, rework, and manual activities.
  • Design standardized processes, future-state workflows, process ownership, documentation, controls, and performance standards.
  • Lead Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional improvement projects; quantify results and establish control plans.
  • Identify automation opportunities and partner with Product and Technology on operational requirements, workflows, and investment cases.
  • Analyze production data, establish benchmarks, identify performance variation, and partner with Data and Product teams on operational dashboards.
  • Design scalable operating models and approaches for onboarding new customers and OEMs without proportional headcount growth.
  • Lead transformation initiatives from concept through implementation, including change plans, pilots, adoption metrics, and post-implementation reviews.
