Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree may substitute for two years of professional experience.
- 8+ years of experience in sales strategy, sales operations, revenue operations, or a comparable analytical function; consulting, banking, or corporate strategy backgrounds are also relevant.
- Demonstrated ownership of territory design, quota allocation, capacity modeling, and sales forecasting.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including financial and operational modeling, pivot tables, and formula-driven analysis.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
- Ability to translate complex or ambiguous analysis into concise narratives for senior leaders.
- Strong influencing and stakeholder-management skills, including persuading partners outside the immediate function.
- Comfort working with limited structure and establishing processes where they do not yet exist.
- Discretion and sound judgment when handling compensation information and other sensitive business data.
- Experience with sales compensation platforms such as CaptivateIQ, Xactly, Spiff, or similar tools is preferred.
- Familiarity with BI platforms such as Tableau, Looker, or Sigma, and SQL proficiency, are advantageous.
- Practical experience using AI tools in analytical and operational workflows is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales leadership on regional go-to-market strategies and provide analysis, recommendations, and insights.
- Translate sales performance data into narratives, actionable insights, and recommended next steps for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Own sales leadership reporting structures, including dashboards, recurring deliverables, and core revenue and performance metric definitions.
- Manage forecast cadences, including call preparation, forecast roll-ups, commit and category hygiene, and accuracy tracking.
- Drive pipeline hygiene and establish inspection cadences across regions and business units.
- Build capacity, headcount, and ramp models aligned with revenue targets and growth plans.
- Design and calibrate territories, allocate quotas, and support segmentation and coverage-model decisions.
- Manage go-to-market roster records, plan assignments, and quota allocations; administer sales compensation plans and validate payouts.
- Develop compensation scenarios and market benchmarks, and support business-unit changes through territory, quota, roster, and system updates.
- Apply AI tools and automation to improve go-to-market analysis and streamline recurring reporting.
