Requirements
- Have hands-on experience working in healthcare.
- Have proven experience in a high-performance, high-accountability environment.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Be proficient in computer skills.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Be able to offer emotional support and empathy.
- Pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Complete medical clearance per health system requirements, including vaccination mandates.
- Maintain a distraction-free, HIPAA-compliant office environment for remote work.
- Use cable or fiber internet; DSL, satellite, and wireless broadband are not permitted.
- Maintain minimum internet speeds of 2 Mbps upload and 5 Mbps download.
- Use wired gigabit Ethernet connections, with at least two Ethernet connections available; working wirelessly is prohibited.
- Work a schedule aligned to Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time.
Responsibilities
- Enroll patients in philanthropic aid programs.
- Manage post-enrollment work, including submitting claims or ordering medications.
- Review patient enrollments for accuracy and completeness.
- Escalate and appeal patient assistance denials.
- Order, receive, and log medication orders.
- Coordinate timely medication deliveries to the designated pharmacy.
- Provide customer service to patients and clients.
- Give patients information to support informed financial decisions about their healthcare.
- Identify opportunities to improve Atlas products and services.
