Requirements
- Have 6+ years of experience with modern and embedded C++.
- Bring broad experience in software development, customer engagements, and automotive compliance standards.
- Have rendering expertise and a strong foundation in algorithms and performance optimization.
- Understand ADAS features such as ACC and LKA and their visual representation in displays and HMI systems.
- Have experience with sensor fusion and filtering techniques.
- Have experience with build systems such as CMake and Gradle, and with developing frameworks or developer tools.
- Be fluent in English.
- Automotive operating system experience with AGL, AOSP, Android Automotive, or QNX is a plus.
- Automotive CAN bus experience and HD mapping domain knowledge are a plus.
- Experience with Yocto, Docker, Qt, Flutter, Kotlin, Shell Script, JavaScript, or Python is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop real-time visualization of ADAS sensor data and HD lane-level navigation for the Mapbox Navigation SDK.
- Implement simulation tools for testing driving scenarios and sensor data playback.
- Assess minimum requirements for automotive solutions and align them with reference platforms.
- Write C++ code to integrate data inputs for automotive navigation products and custom solutions.
- Implement and collaborate on rendering and navigation features.
- Own development from data to navigation experience across platforms and stacks.
- Profile and debug customer platforms to improve automotive navigation performance.
- Work with customers and partners to discover requirements, recommend implementations, and debug integrations.
- Collaborate with internal teams on cross-platform API design and performance tuning for specific hardware and software combinations.
- Improve product performance, stability, maintainability, and simplicity.
