Job Details

Bring 5+ years of database internals development experience, preferably with PostgreSQL.
Have upstream contributions or commits to the ClickHouse OSS project.
Have deep expertise in at least one of C, C++, Rust, or Go systems programming.
Have experience with distributed query optimizers, such as Orca.
Understand computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, operating system internals, and data structures.
Have proficiency in Linux-based software development and debugging.
Have experience optimizing analytical database system performance.
Bring strong problem-solving skills for database and system troubleshooting.
Have experience with analytical libraries or databases such as Spark, DataFusion, or DuckDB, and/or MPP systems such as Greenplum.
Understand PostgreSQL internals.
Have familiarity with machine learning libraries and techniques.
Know GitHub Actions workflows.
Have prior contributions to other open-source database projects.

Design and develop PostgreSQL database features and tools focused on ClickHouse real-time analytics.
Review and refine team members’ code contributions to ensure quality.
Write and maintain regression tests for bug fixes and new features.
Troubleshoot and resolve database, network, and software-related issues.
Work within CI/CD pipelines to support integration and deployment.
Implement features, optimize performance, and help ensure software stability.
