Requirements
- Have 3+ years of B2B sales experience with meaningful ownership of the sales cycle.
- Demonstrate the ability to close new business.
- Show a track record of generating opportunities through outbound prospecting, relationships, referrals, and other channels.
- Have experience working against revenue targets and achieving or exceeding quota.
- Bring strong discovery, presentation, negotiation, objection-handling, follow-up, and closing skills.
- Communicate confidently with business owners, executives, and other senior decision-makers.
- Build trusted relationships and navigate relationship-driven sales cycles.
- Maintain strong CRM hygiene, pipeline management, organization, and follow-through.
- Operate effectively with significant autonomy and a self-driven, results-oriented approach.
- Be willing to travel regularly throughout Texas, visit dealerships, attend automotive industry events, and build relationships in person.
- Preferred: experience selling technology or services to automotive dealerships, or existing relationships with Texas dealerships or dealer groups.
- Preferred: familiarity with dealer technology ecosystems, multi-rooftop dealer groups, or early-stage B2B SaaS.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory strategy across Texas, identifying priority dealerships, dealer groups, and market opportunities.
- Prospect, qualify, run discovery, demonstrate AgentDynamics, negotiate, and close new dealership customers.
- Generate opportunities through phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, introductions, dealership visits, and automotive industry events.
- Build relationships with Dealer Principals, GMs, GSMs, BDC leaders, Marketing Directors, Service Directors, and other dealership stakeholders.
- Visit dealerships and dealer groups across Texas to build relationships, understand their operations, and create momentum.
- Map decision-makers, manage follow-up, and maintain accurate HubSpot records with clear next steps.
- Connect AgentDynamics to dealership outcomes involving leads, follow-up, appointments, customer communications, and service opportunities.
- Expand successful individual rooftop deployments into larger dealer-group relationships across sales and service.
- Share Texas market insights with the broader team to improve messaging, discovery, demos, objection handling, and field-sales strategy.
