Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience selling enterprise software to construction or related industries, with demonstrated success in Enterprise SaaS sales.
  • 7+ years’ experience facilitating all aspects of the sales cycle, especially prospect relationships, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • 7+ years’ experience researching, qualifying, and converting sales leads through targeted searches and queries.
  • Experience selling to and speaking with C-level executives, VPs, and field-based employees.
  • Experience in quota-carrying roles delivering consistent revenue growth against quarterly plans and forecasts.
  • Willingness to travel often, up to 70%.
  • Strong negotiation, public speaking, and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading virtual and in-person product demonstrations using tools such as WebEx or Zoom.
  • Salesforce and HubSpot experience preferred.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or another business-related major is strongly preferred.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Eastern Missouri/Southern Illinois area.

Responsibilities

  • Own the acquisition and closing of new business in assigned geographic territories or states.
  • Prospect potential customers and cultivate relationships through phone, email, tradeshows, industry events, and conferences.
  • Create and execute an outreach micro-strategy and track prospect touchpoints.
  • Lead in-person and virtual product demonstrations for prospective customers.
  • Draft proposals, quotes, and contracts, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Create outbound email communications using CRM software and analyze results.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership and supporting teams on acquisition strategies and pipeline.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue plans and forecasts.
  • Travel to prospective customers onsite and attend events to prospect, network, and advance sales.
