Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related professional experience.
  • 10+ years of sales experience in healthcare or medical device sales.
  • 5+ years of sales management experience for global, national, or key strategic account businesses.
  • Successful experience selling to or working directly in strategic accounts.
  • Executive presence and ability to build, manage, and maintain complex relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Consultative selling, analytical, strategic planning, and execution skills, with independent decision-making.
  • Business and financial acumen, including the ability to analyze and solve complex problems and drive pricing integrity.
  • Ability to apply market intelligence, healthcare policy, and delivery systems to sales strategy.
  • Ability to use Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, and analysis tools effectively.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to meet customers in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Execute existing contracts, own the renewal process, and expand strategic account customer relationships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with health system executives, decision-makers, and influential stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations and secure effective terms while maintaining win-win partnerships.
  • Collaborate with commercial leadership and teams across product development, sales, marketing, customer support, finance, legal, and compliance.
  • Partner with marketing to develop health system engagement tools and with sales and training teams to deliver strategic account management training.
  • Monitor healthcare industry trends, regulations, policy changes, and competitive landscapes.
  • Use data and analytics to identify growth opportunities, track sales metrics and KPIs, and adjust strategies.
