Requirements
- Have at least one year of experience in a professional office environment.
- Health insurance, auto insurance, or medical billing experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of coordination of benefits or subrogation is a plus.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Be comfortable working across multiple screens.
- Be able to learn AcciClaim and SharePoint.
- Have a private, distraction-free home workspace.
- Have a secure internet connection with download speeds above 20 Mbps and upload speeds above 10 Mbps.
- Have a workspace that can accommodate the provided workstation equipment.
- Be able to participate on camera as part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a caseload and follow each account through to resolution.
- Manage accident-related accounts from intake to resolution.
- Coordinate no-fault and liability benefits.
- Submit claims to no-fault and liability carriers to maximize reimbursement for hospital clients.
- Maintain accurate account records in AcciClaim.
- Monitor insurance portals and incoming correspondence.
- Address items identified through Quality Assurance reviews.
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, including extended hold periods while continuing to work other accounts.
