Requirements
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have 3+ years of experience in Network Operations, Systems Integration Testing, IT Operations, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrate experience monitoring systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting operational processes.
- Have experience performing integration, system, or end-to-end testing.
- Have experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Hold an active CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Hold an active Secret Security Clearance.
- Know IT operations, service monitoring, incident management, systems integration, infrastructure, networking, and system architecture.
- Be familiar with automated testing concepts and scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, .NET, or Node.js.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and standard collaboration and ticketing platforms.
- Be able to produce clear technical documentation and communicate complex technical information effectively.
- Be able to work independently with limited supervision and collaborate within a technical team.
- Be able to work in confined rack spaces, perform occasional kneeling, bending, twisting, and reaching, and use computers for extended periods.
- Be able to regularly lift or carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds, with heavier lifting occasionally required.
- An associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; NOC, enterprise monitoring, automated testing, government or mission-critical systems experience, CCNP certification, and a higher-level Secret clearance are additional advantages.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support enterprise networks, servers, databases, storage, applications, and websites.
- Identify outages and performance degradation, manage tickets and escalations, and coordinate recovery activities.
- Plan and execute Authorized Service Interruptions while minimizing operational disruption.
- Investigate incidents by analyzing logs and test results, performing root-cause analysis, and validating corrective actions.
- Design, execute, and document integration, end-to-end, regression, and automated testing.
- Validate system functionality, data flows, APIs, and interoperability between connected systems.
- Maintain and improve monitoring tools, operational dashboards, and automated testing capabilities.
- Document defects, testing outcomes, operational events, procedures, and recovery activities.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, product owners, and support teams to resolve issues and support operational readiness.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives while following change and configuration management procedures.
