Requirements
- Have 5+ years of experience in technical roles such as software or platform engineering, developer advocacy, or solutions engineering.
- Be comfortable writing real code for demos.
- Have an existing technical voice on X, YouTube, or Reddit, with a track record and an audience.
- Have hands-on experience building AI agents and working with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- Be able to conceive, script, build, and edit demo videos and short-form content.
- Have grown a developer community from scratch or materially expanded one.
- Have experience contributing to or maintaining open-source projects.
- Have experience speaking at major developer conferences such as re:Invent or KubeCon.
- Have strong written and verbal skills.
Responsibilities
- Build hands-on, code-first demos and short-form videos showing developers how to use 1Password, particularly for securing AI agents, service accounts, and machine identities.
- Own and grow 1Password’s developer voice on Reddit, YouTube, and X through daily posting, engaging in threads, and answering questions.
- Speak at and represent 1Password at major developer conferences, including AWS re:Invent and KubeCon.
- Turn conference appearances into demos, clips, and content.
- Prioritize and guide what 1Password open sources, including SDKs, integrations, and MCP servers or tools.
- Create blog posts, tutorials, and reference code for developers.
- Build an ongoing developer community with repeat contributors and recurring conversations.
