Requirements

  • Experience working in or alongside districts, CMOs, or education nonprofits.
  • Strong understanding of K-12 ecosystems and the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder landscapes.
  • Familiarity with the full partnership cycle, from discovery and scoping to contracting and sustained relationship management.
  • Project management skills to coordinate work streams, details, logistics, and deadlines.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to craft proposals or scopes of work and lead partner conversations.
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
  • Willingness to travel approximately once a month (~20%).

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and manage relationships with current and prospective partners across assigned Transcend portfolio teams.
  • Build and nurture relationships across the K-12 education landscape to generate introductions and identify partnership opportunities.
  • Lead cultivation calls and partner check-ins, and coordinate escalations for complex, high-stakes, or cross-portfolio partnerships.
  • Represent Transcend at relevant convenings, conferences, and partner meetings, translating new relationships into actionable next steps.
  • Draft scopes of work and pricing, coordinate approvals, and partner with Finance on contracting workflows.
  • Manage the contracting cycle from initial draft through signature and handoff to project delivery teams.
  • Track and report on pipeline and capacity progress, maintaining accurate CRM records.
  • Coordinate with portfolio leads and internal stakeholders to align partner relationship plans and decisions.
  • Surface portfolio insights and work with MarComms to capture partnership stories, case studies, and collateral.
  • Contribute to improving the systems, routines, and templates that support the partnerships function.
