Requirements
- Experience working with an EHR/EMR system.
- HIPAA trained and certified.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with attention to detail when handling charts, results, authorizations, and outstanding tasks.
- Ability to coordinate multiple patient workflows and testing platforms.
- Strong patient communication and administrative skills, including professional and compassionate communication.
- Ability to work independently and remain accountable in a remote environment.
- Must speak and write English clearly and professionally.
- Must have relevant work experience.
- Must be able to provide an NBI Clearance and/or Local Police Clearance before onboarding.
- Must be available for video meetings with camera on when required.
- Reliable computer, stable high-speed internet of at least 25 Mbps, noise-canceling headset, working webcam, and quiet professional workspace.
- Charm/CharmHealth experience is preferred; similar EHR/EMR experience is also considered.
- MRI or diagnostic imaging prior authorization experience is highly preferred; eviCore experience is a plus.
- Previous experience with pre-charting, patient care coordination, test-result tracking, post-visit follow-up, or neurology workflows is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Pre-chart and prepare patient charts before appointments.
- Ensure required test results, labs, imaging, and other relevant information are received and added to patient charts before visits.
- Coordinate testing across cognitive testing, imaging, and laboratory platforms.
- Handle post-visit patient communication and follow-ups.
- Track outstanding patient-related tasks and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Support MRI and diagnostic imaging prior authorization requests, track authorization status, and follow the client's established workflow.
- Track patients through the four-visit yearly program and send timely reminders, check-ins, and follow-up communications.
- Maintain spreadsheets and data trackers for patient progress and outstanding items.
- Generate superbills for cash-pay patients and assist with calendar, schedule, inbox, and social media management.
