- Have 12+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, or a related field.
- Bring depth in B2B payments, fintech, commerce, or platform businesses.
- Demonstrate a track record of setting strategic direction and delivering measurable outcomes for a significant product portfolio or business area.
- Connect complex products into a clear portfolio narrative for senior leaders, merchants, and partners.
- Use merchant, consumer, market, and performance insights to develop product priorities, business cases, and investment recommendations.
- Influence senior leaders, resolve tradeoffs, and build alignment across Product, Revenue, Partnerships, Analytics, and Marketing.
- Use SQL, dashboards, and AI-assisted analysis to investigate questions, test hypotheses, and inform decisions.
- Apply AI to improve work quality and speed, including synthesizing research, analyzing data, automating workflows, or building reusable tools.
- Build reusable frameworks and operating mechanisms for segmentation, go-to-market planning, launches, and measurement.
Responsibilities
- Develop Affirm’s merchant story, messaging architecture, and proof points, and partner with Brand and Marketing teams to activate it across priority merchant channels.
- Establish operating rhythms that sustain alignment across Product and go-to-market teams, including during planning, forecasting, launches, and strategic client opportunities.
- Partner with Revenue Enablement to turn the portfolio narrative into messaging, tools, training, and proof points for merchant conversations.
- Own the Client Advisory Board and broader merchant feedback loops, translating insights into product priorities, go-to-market decisions, and pilot or co-development opportunities.
- Lead a limited number of high-priority, ambiguous opportunities, such as strategic commerce and payments platform partnerships or new market launches.
- Build trust across functions, support candid debate and thoughtful risk-taking, and coach others.
