Requirements
- Bachelor's degree at a minimum.
- 7+ years in product management, with meaningful time on internal, operations, or business systems.
- Hands-on experience designing integrations between third-party platforms and internal systems.
- Fluency reading API documentation and reasoning about webhooks, JSON payloads, event triggers, synchronous and asynchronous processes, failures, and retries.
- Ability to read Python or JavaScript code, navigate GitHub, and understand the basics of AWS or Google Cloud and SQL; production coding is not required.
- Track record of turning messy, manual processes into scalable systems with measurable outcomes.
- Ability to reason about how data flows, workflows, and automations fit together.
- Strong stakeholder skills with senior operations leaders, including the ability to say no and propose a better path.
- Self-direction in ambiguous environments, including building relationships and developing a plan.
- Preferred: experience with contact center or support operations.
- Preferred: experience with Workato, Zapier, Tray.io, or AI support agents.
- Preferred: healthcare or digital health experience, including EHRs, pharmacy, eligibility, or HIPAA-aware workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision and roadmap for operations systems, translating stakeholder requests into a clear direction and sequenced plan.
- Shadow support agents and operations teams to understand their workflows, tools, and sources of lost time.
- Define integrations, data flows, and automations across vendor platforms and internal data models.
- Replace spreadsheet-based, scheduled, or memory-dependent processes with durable systems.
- Shape internal tools that give support agents visibility into member records and activity without requiring engineering tickets.
- Partner with operations leaders, reframe requests as problems, and develop plans that serve the whole business.
- Reverse-engineer existing systems using code, documentation, data, and conversations.
