Requirements
- Have a minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or another relevant discipline.
- Have previous professional experience in the health insurance industry.
- Have mandatory experience working in an Agile and/or Scrum environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of business analysis principles, requirements definition, process analysis, and Agile prioritization.
- Bring strong skills in requirements gathering, facilitation, process documentation, stakeholder communication, and UAT.
- Create clear documentation covering processes, system functionality, data integrations, and workflows.
- Understand how business requirements translate into application and system changes.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities for complex systems and data.
- Demonstrate organizational and time-management skills, including managing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Communicate effectively in written and spoken English and collaborate with clients, technical teams, QA professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Work effectively in a fully remote, international environment.
- Health insurance-related certification from organizations such as INS, LOMA, or III is an advantage.
- Insurtech experience and technical writing experience are preferred or advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients and technical teams to identify business challenges, clarify objectives, and define solutions.
- Gather business requirements through workshops, interviews, working sessions, and other discovery techniques.
- Analyze and document business requirements, processes, workflows, data, and system functionality.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements, user stories, and development specifications.
- Plan and design business processes and system modifications, and recommend improvements.
- Develop test scenarios and support QA and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support defect analysis, change management, maintenance, and release processes.
- Prioritize requirements into epics, sprints, and actionable work items in Agile and Scrum environments.
- Assist with project planning and estimates, and maintain process, system, data integration, and workflow documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical resources, and QA teams throughout delivery; coordinate or monitor other Business Analysts when required.
