Requirements

  • Have 5–8 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
  • Bring experience in trade, design, hospitality, or another relationship-driven, high-touch sales environment.
  • Demonstrate success sourcing and closing net-new business.
  • Have strong prospecting, sales, negotiation, pipeline management, and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal communication and phone skills for serving as the primary contact for prospective customers.
  • Be comfortable using AI tools for prospecting, outreach, messaging, and sales workflows.
  • Be able to create, test, and refine AI-supported processes, validate outputs, and apply sound business judgment.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor funnel performance, and manage forecasts.
  • Work independently in a remote environment and self-manage priorities, pipeline activity, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, engage, and close new B2B accounts across trade and hospitality.
  • Build and manage a pipeline focused on repeat purchasing, long-term relationships, and project-based revenue.
  • Conduct inbound and outbound calls and maintain relationships with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
  • Use AI tools to improve prospecting, list building, messaging, follow-up, and outreach.
  • Develop and refine AI-driven sales workflows, validating outputs and adjusting processes based on results.
  • Monitor funnel metrics, pipeline health, CRM records, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Establish scalable processes for lead routing, opportunity management, follow-up, and sales-cycle optimization.
  • Coordinate account handoffs and strategies with the owner of inbound and existing accounts.
  • Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and vendor teams on inventory planning and special orders.
