Requirements
- Have 5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years focused on AI/LLM application development, agentic systems, or intelligent automation.
- Bring hands-on production experience building multi-agent systems with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or equivalent frameworks.
- Understand agent-loop design, task planning, tool use, and memory management.
- Be proficient in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript, with experience using FastAPI or an equivalent API framework.
- Understand prompt engineering, structured outputs, function calling, context-window management, cost optimization, and latency tradeoffs.
- Have experience integrating enterprise source systems through APIs and MCP connectors.
- Have working knowledge of Azure, GCP, or AWS and Docker and Kubernetes.
- Have experience with vector databases such as Pinecone or Weaviate, or equivalent, and RAG pipelines.
- Bring finance domain fluency across month-end close, variance analysis, revenue recognition, AR/AP, and FP&A workflows.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- Be willing to travel domestically up to 20%–40%, depending on client engagement phase.
Responsibilities
- Deploy AI Jumpstart packages in client environments, configure data connectors, calibrate agent logic, and validate outputs against source-system controls.
- Architect and implement multi-agent orchestration workflows, including task decomposition, inter-agent messaging, tool-call schemas, and human oversight checkpoints.
- Write and optimize prompts and structured output schemas, implement tool-use patterns against financial APIs, and tune retrieval strategies.
- Build and certify MCP connectors and REST/GraphQL integrations with ERP, EPM, CRM, and HRIS systems.
- Package agents as containerized microservices and configure CI/CD, environment promotion, monitoring, and alerting.
- Work with client finance, IT, and data teams to translate requirements into agent designs, demonstrate agents, and iterate on feedback.
- Instrument agents with deterministic logging, source citations, and control documentation for audit readiness.
- Contribute reusable code, workflow templates, connector certifications, delivery methodologies, and service offerings to the practice.
- Mentor analysts and junior engineers, and contribute to recruiting, proposal writing, and firm-wide AI initiatives.
