Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in payer analytics, formulary/claims data management, content mapping, data governance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of combined work experience across United States healthcare data.
- Strong understanding of formulary data, patient claims data, and data management concepts.
- Knowledge of data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data governance.
- Familiarity with payer mapping, HCP/provider mapping, content research, SQL, data modeling, and database management systems.
- Experience with master data management (MDM), data profiling, and analysis tools.
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for analysis, reporting, and dashboarding.
- Desired: experience with Reltio, Informatica, or other master data management tools.
- Desired: familiarity with Snowflake.
Responsibilities
- Map payer/plan and HCP/provider records into governed DecodeRx hierarchies by reconciling names, identifiers, and structures from multiple sources.
- Research and validate record details, including plan type, parent organization or controller, PBM relationships, and provider affiliations.
- Assign confidence ratings, document mapping rationale, prepare reviewer-ready outputs, and QC junior-analyst mappings.
- Validate, cleanse, enrich, and profile data to identify quality issues and recommend solutions.
- Define data quality standards and maintain data dictionaries, lineage, metadata practices, and governance policies.
- Develop and maintain data quality dashboards, scorecards, reports, and other data management tools.
- Work with Operations to integrate data management processes into development and delivery activities.
- Train end-users on data management and mapping practices, and collaborate with data stewards on enterprise data strategies.
- Gather internal user and client feedback and translate it into data product improvements.
