Requirements
- Have 3–5 years of experience in analytics, marketing analytics, or data analyst roles; direct marketing or growth exposure is ideal.
- Be comfortable reading and writing complex, multi-CTE SQL queries.
- Be able to trace logic through unfamiliar views without a data dictionary.
- Have Python experience building reusable data pipelines, not only scripts.
- Have experience with a BI tool at the dataset or semantic-layer level, building metrics and datasets rather than only charts.
- Understand first-touch, last-touch, and multi-touch marketing attribution concepts and their trade-offs.
- Have presented findings to non-technical audiences and adapted the explanation.
- Nice to have: hands-on experience with Google BigQuery and Apache Superset.
- Nice to have: analytics ownership across diverse marketing channels beyond paid acquisition.
- Nice to have: practical experience integrating and directing AI agents or tools in production technical workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own marketing dashboards and datasets across paid acquisition, field marketing and events, affiliate, and content/SEO, including the underlying ETL.
- Build and maintain first-touch and last-touch attribution views.
- Explain why different valid attribution measurements disagree.
- Write Python ETL that can be rerun and withstand upstream system changes.
- Investigate anomalies before presenting results to stakeholders.
- Turn analysis into recommendations the marketing team can act on.
- Validate numbers before sharing them.
- Direct AI tools and agentic BI workflows, and double-check their output.
