Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in payer analytics, formulary/claims data management, content mapping, data governance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of work experience across United States healthcare data.
- Strong understanding of formulary data, patient claims data, and data management concepts.
- Knowledge of data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data governance.
- Familiarity with payer mapping, HCP/provider mapping, and content research.
- Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and database management systems.
- Experience with master data management (MDM), data profiling, and analysis tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for analysis, reporting, and dashboarding.
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Desired: Experience with Reltio, Informatica, or other master data management tools.
- Desired: Familiarity with Snowflake.
Responsibilities
- Map payer/plan and HCP/provider records into governed DecodeRx hierarchies by reconciling inconsistent names, identifiers, and structures.
- Research records to confirm and enrich plan types, parent organizations, controller relationships, PBM relationships, and provider affiliations.
- Assign confidence ratings, document mapping rationale, prepare reviewer-ready outputs, QC junior-analyst mappings, and resolve exceptions.
- Validate, cleanse, enrich, profile, and analyze data to identify quality issues and recommend solutions.
- Work with stakeholders to identify critical data elements and define data quality standards.
- Maintain data dictionaries, data lineage, metadata practices, and data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
- Develop and maintain data quality dashboards, scorecards, reports, and data management tools.
- Integrate data management processes with Operations and adjacent development and delivery activities.
- Train end-users on data management and mapping best practices and procedures.
- Gather user and client feedback and collaborate with cross-functional teams on data product improvements.
