Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical B2B sales experience in industrial adhesive tapes or closely related adhesive-based industries.
  • Market knowledge in Aerospace, Automotive, Building & Construction, or General Industry.
  • Demonstrated success in new-customer acquisition and strategic management of existing customer accounts.
  • Fluent in both English and German.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with international sales preferred.
  • Existing network of distributors, converters, or industrial partners highly desirable.
  • Ability to plan over a 1–2 year time span and manage multiple priorities.
  • Skills in strategic and sales planning, sales and service systems development and deployment, and problem analysis and resolution.
  • Strong customer orientation, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to work as part of a team.
  • Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Expand market share in the industrial adhesive tapes sector through business development and new-business initiatives.
  • Identify and win new customers, uncover application areas, and secure large-scale projects.
  • Strategically support and develop existing key accounts to promote long-term retention.
  • Collaborate with distributors and converters to maximize market reach and develop territory-specific leads.
  • Manage the full technical sales cycle, including consulting, product presentations, negotiations, trials, and evaluations.
  • Own and develop the sales territory, including end-user and corporate account sales calls and product demonstrations.
  • Build relationships with distributor management and sales teams, and train distributors on products, sales, and market knowledge.
  • Provide market and end-user input for product development and value-added sales and marketing support.
  • Document customer activity and targets in CRM, complete reporting, and monitor sales against forecasts and competitive activity.
  • Coordinate with customer service, pricing, and management to resolve issues and support account initiatives.
