Requirements
- Have experience sourcing for startups and be able to produce from the first week.
- Have worked in the agency model, sourcing from assigned briefs rather than selecting roles.
- Bring either a network you can work directly or an AI-native way of finding people.
- Be prepared to discuss roles you sourced that led to hires and the types of companies involved.
- Walk through how you found a candidate for one of those roles, from start to finish.
- Expect calibration on the companies and roles, rather than training on how to source.
Responsibilities
- Source candidates against live company and role briefs.
- Conduct outreach and encourage candidates to sign up to Builders through your referral link.
- Log whom you contacted, the channel used, and who responded.
- Track people reached and signups in relation to billed hours.
- Use one-to-one outreach without sign-off; obtain approval for sequenced, bulk, or automated outreach and its copy.
- Ask before sharing role or company information in public posts, job boards, newsletters, or group messages.
