Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related field.
  • At least 7 years of communications experience, preferably in nonprofit or professional services.
  • Exceptional storytelling, grammar, and editing skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in event strategy, planning, and management.
  • Proven background in change management and communication for organizational transformation.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project management, business acumen, and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to anti-racism, equity, and inclusion.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to support firm initiatives and business priorities.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and ghostwriter for senior leadership, including the CEO.
  • Drive agenda-setting for internal communications and all-staff meetings.
  • Lead communication planning for organizational changes, including restructurings and new service rollouts.
  • Coordinate firm-wide events such as leadership retreats, all-staff conferences, and town halls.
  • Partner with Marketing and People teams to align internal messaging with brand identity and culture.
  • Manage internal communication platforms including newsletters, Slack, and digital content.
