Requirements
- At least five years of relevant experience in quality assurance and quality control of IT systems.
- Experience with verification and validation, software testing and integration, and software metrics used to assess software quality.
- Ability to establish and maintain software and documentation evaluation processes.
- Ability to develop quality assurance plans and determine quality control resources.
- Ability to conduct lifecycle reviews.
- Ability to apply technical subject matter knowledge to specialized solutions and resolve complex problems.
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
- DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification, Category IAT Level II.
- IT-II security clearance or a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at the time of proposal submission.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain processes for evaluating software and its associated documentation.
- Develop software quality assurance plans and identify the resources needed to perform IT quality control.
- Maintain the required level of quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct formal and informal reviews at predetermined lifecycle points, document findings, and support resolution of quality issues.
- Apply verification and validation, software testing and integration, and software metrics to assess software quality.
- Apply subject matter knowledge to high-level analysis, design, development, modeling, simulation, integration, installation, documentation, and implementation.
- Resolve specialized technical problems using a detailed understanding of the relevant subject matter and its principles and methods.
