Requirements
- Have 3–5+ years of Quality Assurance experience with a strong focus on test automation.
- Have intermediate-level experience with SQL and database validation in a QA environment.
- Have proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
- Have hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
- Have practical experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
- Have experience performing API testing using Postman.
- Have experience working with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Understand software testing methodologies, software development lifecycles, and defect management processes.
- Have analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Be able to communicate and collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience implementing a test automation framework from the ground up is preferred.
- Experience testing healthcare, claims processing, or other enterprise applications is preferred.
- Familiarity with performance and load testing tools is a plus.
- Experience mentoring QA professionals on automation practices and standards is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review Jira stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria to develop test plans, scenarios, and cases.
- Identify repetitive and high-value testing opportunities and translate them into automation solutions.
- Evaluate, implement, administer, and improve the test automation framework and supporting tools.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and system testing, including reusable libraries.
- Execute automated regression, smoke, and functional tests, and perform manual testing when appropriate.
- Validate end-to-end claims processing workflows and verify fixes before production releases.
- Document and track defects in Jira, collaborate with developers on troubleshooting, and retest resolved issues.
- Communicate testing progress, quality metrics, risks, defects, and release readiness to stakeholders.
- Establish automation best practices, coding standards, documentation, and reusable testing approaches.
